We present the opera “Brünnhilde's Self-Sacrifice” from Richard Wagner’s “Götterdämmerung” inside the online game Fortnite.
Instead of a studio with subdued acoustics, the performance was staged in a church, where the architecture naturally enhances spatial reverberation. The soaring voices, resonating and echoing beneath the high ceilings, were captured with high-performance microphones.
The result is an experience that lets you enjoy opera within the game—immersed in a sense of presence as if attending a live concert hall performance.
